This year as last year, we did an underwater cleanup of 6 bays (4 in Gozo , 3 in Comino). We did several dives to clean the sea bed from the junk that end up littering our shores. Unfortunately this litter can pose a hazard to the swimmers and bathers. For instance when glass bottles break up, the resulting glass fragments can cause serious injuries to the bathers if they step on them. This year we collected less debris then last year. This project was entrusted to us by the Ministry for Gozo
