Today a Certificate Presentation Ceremony was held at the Red Cross Headquarters. Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi, Minister for Gozo Hon Giovanna Debono, Prof Lino Cutajar and other prominent persons were present at the ceremony.
In this ceremony the twinning agreement between Croce Rossa Italiana (CRI) Lombardia and Malta Red Cross Gozo Branch was signed. Also agreements were signed regarding Bank of Valletta and with the Education division regarding Water Safety Awareness Porgram.
Training certificates were given to those volunteers who attended for Red Cross Gozo Branch Basic First Aid, Emergency Medical Technician Basic, First Aid Instructor courses. Other certificates of appreciation were given to those volunteers who went on a humanitarian mission to Sri Lanka and those volunteers who helped in the Cittadella Clean up Project and Underwater Cleanup Project.
