Malta Red Cross Gozo Branch Annual General Meeting

Today at 9.00am sharp started he Annual General Meeting of the Malta Red Cross Gozo Branch at the branch headquarters in Xewkija.
The AGM started with the reading of the minutes from the last AGM, which dates back to March 2005. The meeting carried on with a presentation delivered by the Secretary General Etienne Micallef who gave an overview of the branch operations in Gozo. This was followed with the presentation by the branch treasurer Mr Pierre Sacco of the accounts for the years 2005 and 2006 as well as the budget for this year. These were all approved by the volunteers and members present.
An election for the new board members was held. The following candidates were elected to form the new Red Cross Gozo Branch Committee.

- Mrs Nelike Hemaalar
- Mr Anton Portelli
- Mr Pierre Sacco
During the AGM Mr Joseph Sultana was appointed as Public Relation officer of the Gozo Branch.
