The youth section within the Malta Red Cross Gozo Branch is always kept active with the numerous activities organised by their leaders.
Last saturday, instead of their normal meeting held at the Red Cross headquarters, they headed off for some abseiling activities organised by the SART members of the same organisation. The SART members set up an areal runway for the youths.
Other activities are accident simulations, where youth members are presented with different emergency situations in which they are carefully trained to react in a skillful way. In these emergency situations youths are trained to phone to emergency centres and giving the proper information.
