Demonstration during Gozo 1234 at Marsalforn

Among the number of ambulance sevices rendered during the Gozo 1234 activities held in gozo between 1 May and 4 May in various localities around Gozo, Malta Red Cross volunteers prepared a demonstration in Marsalforn.
This demonstration consisted of an accident between a vehicle and a bicycle. The casualty on the bicycle was the one who would probably suffer most so he had to be properly prepared for transportation. The casualty in the vehicle was threated for shock.
In this demonstation, some members from the Youth Red Cross took part as they were the ones who had to phone for the ambulance. Youth members are educated on a weekly basis on First Aid matters as well as on various educational themes.
