Abseiling Fund Raising Activity at Dwejra

Last Saturday, a group of volunteers from the SART unit of the Gozo branch organized an abseiling activity for forty university students at dwejra. This activity took about four hours. During abseiling activities, the SART instructors make use of specialized equipment which is safe for those who practice abseiling for first time
The same SART insructors at the Malta Red Cross Gozo branch are delivering certified courses in different aspects of rope rescue and working at heights. Moreover, there are also basic abseiling courses for those who wish to try and equip himself for this adventureous sport. For more information do not hesitate to contact the Gozo branch management.
In the near future, there are plans to certify members of the Scouts Group in Malta in an absieling course in Gozo.
