The Malta Red Cross Gozo Branch and the Marsalforn Catholic Community with the help of Fr Micheal Borg are organising a Blood Drive at the four star Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn. The Blood Drive will be held on 30 August from 9.00 am till 4.30 pm.
Although the aim of this event is to collect as much blood as possible which is of great benefit to persons who need it, it can also serve as an opportunity for others who have never donated blood in the past to regularly start making this noble gesture in future. The Blood Drive is meant to show that blood donation does not put blood donors to health hazards after giving blood but is a means to show solidarity with others in need. BLOOD DONATION is CHARITY.
The event will be hosted in a professinal way in a fully airconditioned room at Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn. There will be refreshments available for free for those who donate blood.
The Blood Drive is open to everyone. If you have never donated blood before, this even could mark your first blood donation in your life.
Blood donors must be in possession of their ID card for the event. A gift will be given to all indiviuals who donate blood at the Blood Drive.
