Multiple casualty incident simulation at Arkadia Parking lot - Gozo

A group of 15 volunteers currently undergoing training to become qualified as emergency medical technician - basic, last Saturday took part in a exercise simulating a multiple casualty incident. Two ambulances and a rescue vehicle were deployed to the scene at 16:45 hrs. The volunteers had to provide pre hospital care to the injured patients, do extrication of trapped patients, do triage and provide psychological support.
Casualty make up was done by Felicia Muscat head of the casualty moulage unit. Well done to the whole team.
